NCMHI has 10 active local chapters around the state from the mountains to the coast. Each chapter meets regularly to tackle local issues, learn new things about the industry and meet as peers. 

NCMHI holds a seminar entitled, ACT First! (Advocacy Changes Thinking) to teach members to change the way other people think of our industry and our products. 

NCMHI has a manufactured housing political action committee (MaHPAC) which raise funds for political candidates. MaHPAC is one of the top 25 PACs in the state. In the 2000 election, 99% of the candidates NCMHI supported, were elected. To register to vote, click here. 

NCMHI sponsors candidate forums for our members to interact with the candidates. 

Regularly, NCMHI sets aside a time for its members to meet and greet their legislators to form positive relationships.
